I’m originally from Chicago but moved to South Florida almost two years ago because I was afforded the opportunity to become the Cake Artist at the historic Fontainebleau. My love of baking started at a very young age while watching my beloved Grandmother bake cakes for her family and friends. She was fondly known as “ The Cake Lady,” and I feel so blessed that she handed down all of her recipes and baking equipment to me. From time to time I would bake cakes as my grandmother before me for my family and friends.

I attended Kendall College at night after working as a Cosmetologist in the day time .

After graduating I left cosmetology behind and started working full time as a pastry cook at several restaurants in Chicago and, after a few years I landed a Pastry Chef position. I revisited making cakes and taught myself modern cake techniques, I’m proud to say that I am a self taught Cake Artist.

The Original Sweet Revolution & Making All Things Sweet!! Chicago ✈️ Miami

I revisited making cakes and taught myself modern cake techniques, I’m proud to say that I am a self taught Cake Artist. My hair clients became my cake clients and that is how I started Sweet Revolution. Pursuing my dream of becoming a cake artist gave me many opportunities to create custom cakes for many clients including Kanye West, Michael Jordan and Justin Bieber to name a few. One of my proudest moments as a Pastry Chef was participating as a contestant on Food Networks’ Spring Baking Championship Season 5.
